A: Most bands will specify their desired size.

Starting points

4m x 3m: 3 piece band with drums

6m x 4m: 5 piece band

8m x 6m: 7 piece band

Q: How high is high enough?

A: Depending on the perspective of the audience and the nature of the performance the following guidelines can be used.
Standing Audience:

600mm – 800mm for small/medium audiences
1m high for larger audiences or events that require the talent on stage to be seen from further away.

600mm for seated talent or a slightly larger audiences
800mm-1m for larger audiences (500+ people)

Q: How long does the setup take?

A: Setup time is very much dependent on the size of the build, but most stages go up within an hour and taken down just as quick. Our builds are mostly tool and consumable free to avoid noise and waste.

Q: Will the stage be level on an uneven surface?

A: Yes, if the build surface is uneven, all stages are laser leveled to a tolerance of 5-10mm between the furthest points. All stage decks interlock which makes for a flat, even surface.

Q: Who is responsible for the certificate of compliance?

A: If requested, we can arrange for the structure to be signed off, however this is not done in-house and will be subcontracted. We advise our clients to include the stage in their general health and safety inspection needed for events. This saves both time and money.

Q: Can we have a white stage?

A: Yes, at an additional charge the stage is cladded with white ABS sheets to form a completely white surface. A choice of white fabric skirting or hard facing is available.

Q: Can we move the stage once the crew has finished the stage?

A: No, to ensure the integrity of the build, the stage is not to be moved or modified once it has been built by anyone other than Levo crew.

Q: Can I attach banners or posters to the stage?

Yes, making use of our velcro skirting attachment system, banners can be made to replace the skirting. Nothing is to be stapled or pinned to the stage as this damages the product.

Q: Can we collect and build the stage ourselves?

A: No, transport, setup and collection needs to be done by Levo crew to ensure the safety of our clients and proper use of our product

Q: Do you provide services to the whole western cape?

A: Yes. Keeping in mind that longer drives might require accommodation and additional costs, we do service the whole western cape.

Q: Can you build a seating bank?

A: Yes, seating banks can be built.

Q: I need to put a tent over the stage, how do I go about it?

A: In the case of stretched tents, the stage should be build before the tent goes up. In this way, they can place their supports in the right place. Should the tent be built before the stage, sufficient space is to be left free of supports for us to build the stage.
Important note: The tenting company needs to aware of the height of the stage inside the tent.
